Astragalus membranasceous  is a traditional Chinese medicine, known for  lowering blood pressure, treating diabetes and protecting the liver. Astragalus also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Another ingredient in this supplement called olive leaf extract, is also well known as a powerful hypotensive remedy. These ingredients work synergistically to keep the blood pressure under control.
